Useful books
There are a number of books about cancer and sexuality, most of them specific to either breast or prostate cancer. These books are available at book stores or on line at suppliers like Amazon.

Sexuality and Fertility after Cancer, by Lesley Schover (John Wiley & Sons, 1997, $15.95) is written for individuals with cancer.

No Less a Woman: Femininity, Sexuality & Breast Cancer, by Deborah Hobler Kahane (Hunter House Publishers, 1995, $14.95) is an account of several women�s recovery from breast cancer.

Couples Confronting Cancer, by Joy L. Fincannon and Katherine V. Bruss (American Cancer Society, 2002, $18.95) focuses on the psychological aspects of couples with cancer and does not specifically address sexual issues.

Men, Women, and Prostate Cancer: A Medical and Psychological Guide for Women and the Men They Love, by Barbara Rubin Wainrib, Michael Droller, Jack Maguire, and Sandra Haber (New Harbinger Publications; 2nd edition, 2000, $15.95). This book is aimed at helping the partners of men with prostate cancer to make informed choices about treatment and manage the emotional and psychological impact of the illness on their loved one and themselves.

Intimacy With Impotence: The Couple's Guide to Better Sex After Prostate Disease, by Ralph Alterowitz and Barbara Alterowitz (Da Capo Press, 2004, $15.00) is another book specifically aimed at only prostate cancer patients.
